If you are putting together a roadside emergency kit, you have made a smart choice. What you are going to put in your kit might depend on a number of factors. As you start to put the kit together, think about the situations that you might find yourself in. Also think about any needs that are specific to your vehicle or the area in which you live.
There are a few items that could be must-haves, like a charger for your cell phone, drinking water, non-perishable food, a first aid kit, pain medicine, bandages and gauze. Don't forget waterproof tape, too. Let's not forget a set of jumper cables and a spare tire or a blanket. These things might not fit inside a smaller kit, but, you can always keep them in the vehicle.
Plan for the worst situation that you can think of. This way you will be safe on the road if an emergency happens to you.
