Little Skookum Bay, where oyster farmer Brett Bishop goes to work every day, is a beautiful place. In fact, its beauty is part of the reason why Brett loves his job so much. Not only that, but the clean and lovely bay provide an ideal home for the yummy oysters that Brett harvests there. A recent Lincoln Now article has more info:

"The bay is shaped like an hourglass—wide at the head and mouth, and narrow in the middle. As water sweeps through the narrow section, it pulls away silt that would normally settle out of the water, leaving clean sand and gravel substrate in its wake. This creates an ideal habitat for oysters." Read more above.

At Sewell Ford-Lincoln, located at 2425 East 8th Street in Odessa, it would be our pleasure to send you (to your above-water) home in a brand new Lincoln. Come test drive one today.
