The Importance of Tire Rotations

Tire rotations are important for several different reasons. When you have your tires rotated, your tires  are rotated into another position so the tires are all wear more evenly. Some vehicles recommend that you have your tires rotated every 6 months, or every 3,000 to 7,000 miles. Some people rotate them every time they have an oil change.

Rotating your tires ends up being beneficial in the long run, and it helps your tires last a lot longer than they would if your tires had not been rotated. This also saves you money, because you won't need new tires as often. The front tires normally start to wear around the edges, and the rear tires do so more slowly, therefore the front tires will wear down more rapidly. This causes your tires to be uneven and not last as long.
